Short explanation

Speedtest Tracker through version 1.15.0 contains an IP allowlist bypass vulnerability because bootstrap/app.php trusts every peer as a proxy.

Why does it matter?

Unauthenticated remote attackers can spoof X-Forwarded-For headers to read /prometheus metrics and reach protected web and API endpoints.

What should be done?

  • Follow vendor advisories and updates
  • Review proxy configurations and network security settings

Speedtest Tracker 1.15.0 ve önceki sürümlerde X-Forwarded-For başlıklarının manipüle edilmesiyle IP allowlist bypass zafiyeti oluşmaktadır.

Show the technical text from the sources

Speedtest Tracker through 1.15.0 contains an IP allowlist bypass vulnerability that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to evade ALLOWED_IPS and Prometheus allowlists by spoofing X-Forwarded-For headers. Because bootstrap/app.php trusts every peer as a proxy, attackers can supply an allowlisted address to read /prometheus metrics and reach protected web and API endpoints.

Patch and Remediation Guide

Solution & Remediation Advisory

Patch status unknown

İncelenen resmî kaynaklarda yama durumu doğrulanamadı. Bu sonuç “yama yok” anlamına gelmez.

Confirm the affected product and version against the source evidence above.
Restrict access to internet-facing services and apply network segmentation.
Until a patch is confirmed, follow the vendor advisory; do not read an unknown status as “no patch”.
Monitor server logs and network endpoints for signs of anomalous execution.
