Terms of Use

In effect from 11 October 2026.

This is an English rendering of the Terms of Use. If the English and Turkish versions differ, the Turkish text prevails.

1. Parties and acceptance

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern the relationship between [Veri sorumlusunun adı soyadı veya ticaret unvanı] (“DayBreach”) and the natural or legal person using the DayBreach service offered at enginteksut.com.tr and through its application programming interface (the “API”) (together, the “Service”) (the “User”). Anyone who uses the Service, creates an account or obtains an API key is deemed to have read and accepted these Terms. A person who does not accept the Terms must not use the Service.

2. Nature of the Service

DayBreach is an information service that gathers, by automated means, vulnerability records published in public sources, victim announcements made by ransomware groups, official breach notices and security news.

  • The content of the Service is taken automatically from third-party sources. DayBreach gives no undertaking as to the accuracy, completeness, currency or fitness for a particular purpose of that content.
  • Leak records are the claims of the groups concerned. The appearance of an organisation’s name in a list does not mean that DayBreach has verified that the organisation has suffered a breach. DayBreach does not host, download or distribute data alleged to have been leaked.
  • Summaries produced by artificial intelligence may contain errors; the sources shown should be examined before a decision is made.
  • Nothing in the Service constitutes legal, technical or professional advice, and it is no substitute for a security audit.

3. Account and security

The User agrees to give accurate information when creating an account and to keep sign-in details and API keys confidential. The User is responsible for everything done through the account or a key. Unauthorised use must be reported to DayBreach without delay once it is noticed. The Service is intended for persons who have reached the age of eighteen.

4. Acceptable use

The User shall use the Service only for lawful purposes. The following are prohibited:

  • Using the Service for an attack on, unauthorised access to, blackmail or harassment of any person or organisation, or for any other unlawful act.
  • Using the Service in order to access, obtain or disseminate data alleged to belong to organisations named in leak records.
  • Exceeding or circumventing the request limits set, evading the limits through multiple accounts or keys, or creating a load that impairs the operation of the Service.
  • Extracting data in bulk with automated tools by means other than the API.
  • Attempting to defeat the security measures of the Service, or gaining unauthorised access to other users’ accounts or to an organisation’s data.
  • Republishing content without attribution or in breach of the licence terms of the source concerned.

5. Use of the API

API keys are personal to the individual or organisation and may not be transferred. DayBreach is entitled to set and change request limits and quotas and, in the event of abuse, to revoke a key without prior notice. When data obtained through the API are used, compliance with the attribution and licence terms of the data sources concerned is the User’s responsibility. Those terms are listed on the Attribution and Licences page.

6. Organisation panel

The organisation concerned is responsible for the accuracy of the inventory uploaded to the organisation panel, for the lawful processing of data relating to individuals in that inventory, and for the content and recipients of notifications sent from the panel. Matching results are an automated assessment based on the information uploaded and on the version data in the sources; they cannot be taken as conclusive proof that a system is, or is not, affected.

7. Intellectual property

All rights in the software and design of the Service, in the DayBreach name and logo, and in the compilations and arrangements created by DayBreach belong to DayBreach. Content taken from third-party sources is subject to its own licence terms. Trade marks and logos shown on the pages belong to their owners and are displayed solely to identify the organisation concerned. The User is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable permission to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

8. Fees

The Service is currently provided free of charge. DayBreach reserves the right to offer paid features in future; in that event no charge will be made for paid features without the User’s express acceptance.

9. No warranty and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. DayBreach gives no undertaking that the Service will operate without interruption or error, that the content is accurate or complete, or that any vulnerability or incident will be reported in time.

To the fullest extent permitted by the legislation in force, DayBreach is not liable for direct or indirect loss, loss of profit or loss of data arising from the use of or inability to use the Service, from decisions taken in reliance on the content, from a notification failing to arrive or arriving late, or from errors in third-party sources. Liability arising from DayBreach’s intent or gross negligence, and the mandatory provisions of consumer legislation, are reserved.

10. Indemnity

The User agrees to compensate DayBreach for losses it suffers as a result of claims brought against it by third parties on account of the User’s use in breach of these Terms or of legislation.

11. Suspension and termination

The User may close the account at any time. DayBreach may suspend or terminate an account or an API key in the event of a breach of these Terms, a use that threatens the security of the Service, or a legal requirement. DayBreach reserves the right to change, restrict or cease to offer the Service or any of its features.

12. Personal data

The principles governing the processing of personal data are set out in the Privacy Policy and the KVKK Information Notice; the use of cookies is explained in the Cookie Notice.

13. Changes to the Terms

DayBreach may amend these Terms. The current text is published on this page and takes effect on the date of publication. A User who continues to use the Service after an amendment is deemed to have accepted the current Terms.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Türkiye. The İstanbul (Çağlayan) Courts and Enforcement Offices have jurisdiction over disputes arising from the Terms. For Users who are consumers, the mandatory provisions on jurisdiction of Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection are reserved.
