Short explanation

Hatchet through version 0.110.5 contains an unauthenticated memory exhaustion vulnerability via the SNS ingestion endpoint due to unbounded resource allocation, which can degrade service availability.

Why does it matter?

This unauthenticated vulnerability allows attackers to send large or concurrent request bodies, degrading availability.

What should be done?

  • Monitor vendor advisories and updates
  • Apply fixes or patches when released

Show the technical text from the sources

Hatchet through 0.110.5 contains an allocation of resources without limits vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to exhaust memory via the SNS ingestion endpoint. Attackers can send arbitrarily large or concurrent request bodies to POST /api/v1/sns/{tenant}/{event} with any UUID, which the SnsUpdate handler buffers before signature verification, degrading availability.

Patch and Remediation Guide

Solution & Remediation Advisory

Patch status unknown

İncelenen resmî kaynaklarda yama durumu doğrulanamadı. Bu sonuç “yama yok” anlamına gelmez.

Confirm the affected product and version against the source evidence above.
Restrict access to internet-facing services and apply network segmentation.
Until a patch is confirmed, follow the vendor advisory; do not read an unknown status as “no patch”.
Monitor server logs and network endpoints for signs of anomalous execution.
